Human Rights Activists: Protest Actions Should Be Held in City Centers

Belarusian human rights activists from regions have launched a campaign for more appropriate places for delivery of mass events.

They also try to change application rules. They also prepared applications to local authorities.

Dzmitry Salaueu, coordinator on work in the regions, told Radio Racyja:

"It is almost impossible to get permission here. People are sent to suburbs and face different problems to get an official permission. They require agreements with the police before the permission. But it is illegal and contradicts laws."

Dzmitry Salaueu says the collection of signatures has been launched, round tables on the topic are being held.
