Heart Cry of a Young Specialist: Chief Herd Manager Drove Me to the Stove and Started Deliveling Blows

It's a sincere story of a girl assigned to one of Belarusian farms.

A young specialist assigned to OAO ArgoNiva, Kamyanets district, addressed to the editorial offic of Charter97.org. The girl told in details about orders in their farm and the attitude to young specialists reminiscent of the "hazing" in the Belarusian army.

"Hello, my name is Anastasia Jauheniyeuna Kazak and I'd like to tell my story.

Now I, as a young specialist, am working on the farm of OAO AgroNiva, Kamyanets district.

In the morning of October 17 I came to work. Our senior specialists - herd manager Vera Mikalaeuna Maslo and deputy chief on farm production Lidziya Uladzimirauna Kanaplitskaya, arrived to the farm.

I did not see that they arrived and did my job, then I went to look for our herd manager and assistant farm manager, since we had to go to another building.

First I went to the “Red Corner” and found there our main specialists. There was also calves care operator, she left as soon as I came.

I was there alone with senior specialists. They asked me "why don't you water calves with a probe?" "why don't you use StartAid (veterinary drug for milk replacement), "why don't you weigh calves? (although weighing is not my responsibility and is performed by farm manager)".

I began to express my opinion. They started shouting at me and I switched on the voice recorder and said: "If you treat me this way I will record our conversation."

However, the dispute continued and then Maslo said she would catch it on video. I agreed and switched on my camera as well.

Then Masko quickly approached me and drove me to the stove and started delivering blows on my head. I called for help. At that moment Kanaplitskaya came up behind me and shut my mouth with one hand and the other hand was holding my hands. Parallel to this, Maslo snatched my phone.

Having getting out of Kanaplitskaya, I bit Maslo by her hand, ran out of the "Red Corner", called the police and director of the farm Viktar Aliaksandravich Bobr who said that I would fail to prove the case.

This is not the first case of beating of young specialists on this farm. We are constantly sworn at on the part of senior specialists. They do not even try to teach us anything.

Sometimes we work 12 hours a day, but 7 hours are still recorded, 5 hours on Saturday. Sunday is our day off, although young specialists have to work. It is impossible to go on vacation; 100-200 rubles are constantly missed.

The director of OAO AgroNiva Viktar Aliaksandravich Bobr refused to talk with journalists of Charter97.org saying that he would not provide the press with any comments.
