Deliveries Of Belarusian Fuel To Ukraine Reduced By 90%

A sharp decrease in supplies occurs due to scheduled repairs at the Mozyr refinery.

In October, the delivery of A-92 petrol from Belarus decreased by 91% to 4 thousand tons in comparison with the average monthly indicator of the current year.

The Ukrainian economic publication enkorr.com.ua was informed about it by the Consulting Group A-95, with the reference to its own research data.

A sharp decrease in deliveries from the main supplier has led to a deficit of A-92 in the amount of 30-35 thousand tons, which is about 40% of its consumption. Such a deficit will provoke a rise in prices for motor fuel.

The consumption of A-92 in Ukraine is 80-85 thousand tons per month in 2017. Of these, 40-45 thousand tons are imported, 98% of the petrol is imported from Belarus. In October 2017, the import deliveries of A-92 amounted to 9.7 thousand tons, of which only 4 thousand tons were from Belarus.

According to journalists, a sharp decrease in supplies occurs due to scheduled repairs at the Mozyr refinery, which started on September 10 and will be over in late October.
