Pavel Seviarynets To EU Politicians: You Are Betraying Ideals Of Democracy In Belarus

The "Political Prisoners’Forum" in Minsk adopted an appeal to the Belarusian society and the international community.

A regular meeting of the "Political Prisoners’Forum" public initiative took place in Minsk, racyja.com reports.

According to the moderator of the meeting, Co-Chairman of the steering committee on creating the party "Belarusian Christian Democracy" Pavel Seviarynets, the time of the session wasn’t chosen by chance.

"On the day when the Eastern Partnership Summit starts in Brussels, the first Summit to which Lukashenka was personally invited, we have summoned our "Freedom to political prisoners!" forum, and invited the relatives of political prisoners. We adopted an appeal to the Belarusian society and the international community. Repression, continued persecution of political prisoners in Belarus continues. Nothing has changed, and we are shocked by the fact that the Europeans see some sort of improvements, and finance the state system and the system of the Interior Ministry."
