"We Demand Fair Elections, So That Intelligent People Lead Country"

A Luninets resident told about the mood of people in the town during a spontaneous protest rally.

"There has been no modernization here. We use the equipment, which we got from the USSR. There is only an ice palace and a swimming pool in the town, and for what money should I go there? We are seeking fair elections, so that we are headed by honest and intelligent people. Now there is such a system, where a person comes to work and thinks how to steal. And they steal. We have already suffered enough. We do not want to live like that," – the woman from Luninets said.

On March 18, about 20 people came to the main square in Luninets to talk about their problems.
