Babruisk Workers To Be Sent Sweeping Streets For 2/3 Of Their Salaries

Deputy Head of the City Executive Committee has come up with such an idea.

The idea to send the workers of the idling state enterprises clean the streets has been suggested by First Deputy Head of the City Executive Committee Aleh Kovel, “Babruisk Courier” informs.

He didn’t like it that the residents of Babruisk sit at home during the down time, getting 2/3 of their salaries. He gave an order to “distribute the city streets among the workers, give out the necessary equipment, vests, and conduct instruction. The streets will become cleaner immediately.”

Now, when the enterprises cannot provide enough work for their workers, they will have to change lathes and spanners for rakes and shovels. However, they will receive several-fold less money for probably the same scope of work, paying the same efforts!

Last week, five Babruisk enterprises didn’t work. However, thanks to the “fatherly care” of the Deputy Head of the City Executive Committee, there will probably enough “work” for everyone.

However, it would be good if our “wise” officials realized that all this is called significant amendment of the working conditions, and, apart form the “instruction”, it requires making amendments to the employment contracts as well.

Meanwhile, the “heroic” struggle with the “parasites of all types” is continued at all the fronts of our Motherland… It’s all quiet on our “eastern” front.
