Authorities Of Kolomyia, Ukraine, Celebrate BNR Anniversary Officially

On March 25 a white-red-white flag is to be hanged up over the council of city deputies of Ivano-Frankivsk province.

Radio Svaboda has been informed about that by the people’s deputy of Ukraine Ihor Huz.

In this way the city authorities joined the celebration of the 99th anniversary of the Belarusian National Republic proclamation. This move is “a move of solidarity with Belarusian volunteers who defend Ukraine in the east of our country,” – said the mayor of the city Ihor Sluzar.

The local authorities call the white-red-white flag “the national symbol of Belarus.”
