Belarusians In State Of Mobilization

People think and talk about how to make a difference.

I haven’t been to Belarus for nearly six months. Against the backdrop of mass detentions of Freedom Day and "non-parasites" protest rallies participants, I expected general discouragement. It has NOT happened. People are in a state of mobilization.

They feel and think constructively. They mock the actions of the authorities. Whoever you talk to about Decree No. 3, everyone is against the "unsound" one. And not only is the decree believed to be "unsound", but the 23-year rule of the same person and "elections" in the Yarmoshyna style as well...

People not only pour negative emotions, they think and reason about how to achieve changes. One driver said heatedly (one should have heard his voice): "The wife is sitting with small children. Let them just send her a "chain letter," not only will I myself take to the street, I'll bring 20 people with me."
