Don’t Want To Leave? There Is A Word “Must!”
Sviatlana Kalinkina

Otherwise, watch the biographies of Yanukovych and Bakiyev.

The events of 2010, when the riot policemen beat all the hopes for the normalization of the relations with Europe with their batons, have in fact been reinstated.

The leadership board of the country and the force structures watched the events from a bunker.

The people. Many of them. A whole alive flow in the central avenue. White-red-white flags all around. At some point, someone hangs a flag on the KGB building. The Independence Square. The Lenin monument. The speeches. The faces glowing with inspiration. Hope in the eyes...

And you are sitting in a bunker, Scared. Very scared.

At certain point, the then head of the Security Council Leanid Maltsau says: “Aliaksandr Ryhoravich, everything is under control. The people have started to disperse.”

However, the then KGB chief Vadzim Zaitsau interrupts: “Aliaksandr Ryhoravich, we have tapped a phone call from abroad. The protesters have been ordered to seize the House of Government.”

And all hell broke loose…

Later on, Zaitsau was dismissed from his position, and sent not even to some middle of nowhere as an ambassador, but somewhere at “Cosmos”TV, to supervise the fantastic TV-series. However, the damage was done, the case was started, and no one could stop this wheel.

Lukashenka revenged upon the people for his fear.

What has happened now? Who said what to the hypochondriac leader at the right time and place, to make him repeat the effect of the disastrous mistake of the election-2010?

I agree with all those who say that Lukashenka got scared and freaked out again. Still, what he is scared of? The Maidan?

The people in Belarus come out to the protest action so that Maidan would not happen. They come out with the slogan “Go Away!” Minsk, Homel, Maladechna, Babruisk – all the places where the protest actions were held – had one and the same message: “Just leave peacefully, with no blood, don’t drive your people to the line, don’t drive it all to the Maidan”.

The people are offering the way out, the “recipe” on how to avoid Maidan.

Don’t wanna leave?

I understand. However, there is such a word as “must”.

Otherwise, see the biographies of Yanukovych and Bakiyev.
