A well-known Homel blogger has been sentenced for the "March of Non-Parasites" in Pinsk.

Judge Andrei Lahunovich tried blogger Maxim Filippovich, who has been three times arrested for taking part in the protests in Homel, Brest and Maladzechna, in the Savietski District Court of Homel for the fourth time on April 21. This time, the administrative protocol under Article 23.34 was drawn up against Filippovich for the presence on the "March of Non-Parasites" in Pinsk on 11 March, Svaboda reports.

Filippovich was sentenced to 7 days of administrative arrest. The police immediately took him to the detention center. The audience reacted to the verdict with a loud chant "Shame!".

"The policemen just revenge me for not being able to defend themselves from the attack of unknown people in civilian clothes in Pinsk, and the whole country has learned about it," – Maksim believes. – Ordinary citizens retook me from the claws of those attacking. And on my demand to gain insight into the situation, the policeman, who was present at the square, advised me to call 102 – the duty officer. Therefore, I addressed to the policemen, reminding them: "You are here! You serve the people, and not only get money! "

According to Filippovich, in fact, there was no rally in Pinsk. People came to the square, talked to each other, told journalists about their attitude to Decree No. 3, about unemployment and low salaries. There were no loudspeakers, no speakers.

"This is an interesting trial, because, besides the attack on me, no other mass actions took place on the square. As a result of the attack, I filed a statement to the Homel prosecutor's office. It was sent to Pinsk. There is no answer, but they are judging me already," – Filippovich said.
