Minsk Residents Invited To Kastrychnitskaya Square On July 3

The rally of the Belarusian National Congress will be held in the center of the capital on the Day of Liberation of Minsk. The beginning is at 14:00.

It is stated in the leaflets that appeared in various parts of the city. They contain the slogans of the rally – "Basta!" and "For Peaceful Belarus!". Minsk residents have sent their photos to the editorial office of the Belarusian National Congress bnknews.org.

"Only with the help of peaceful protests we can now express disagreement with the criminal regime, –one of them said. – Without going to protest rallies, we give a silent agreement of turning Belarusians into slaves deprived of civil rights.

Do we need insane anti-constitutional decrees? Do we need foreign troops here? Do we need a threat of losing the sovereignty of the Republic of Belarus? Do you need constant turning of the screw, poverty, devastation? Is it admissible to have political prisoners in the center of Europe?

If the answer to these questions is "no", then you’ve got to go to the Square and loudly declare it. July 3 is a good day for protest.
