An investigation into the criminal case of premeditated murder committed by a group of individuals has been completed in the Ivanovo region, the website ivanovonews.ru reports.

According to the investigation, two friends born in 1984 and 1989 were drinking alcohol with a citizen of the Republic of Belarus in the village of Blagoveshchenie, Lukhsk district at the end of August 2016. A guest from Belarus promised his co-drinkers to sell them a mobile phone, but then changed his mind. Lukhsk dwellers got angry so much that they attacked the Belarusians and began to beat him.

Then the attackers took the foreigner out of the village and again beat him. Then they brought their victim to the pond, dragged him into the water and kept him under water until he ceased to give signs of life. Making sure that the man is dead, the attackers disguised the corpse with grass and left.

Mushroom pickers accidentally found the skeleton in a pond at the end of September 2016. The suspect in the murder were arrested. They were charged. In the near future, the criminal case will be sent to the court.
