Belarusian authorities carry out the Kremlin's policies.
The Belarusian diaspora also discusses the official visit of Aliaksandr Lukashenka to Kiev, scheduled for July 20-21, Radio Racyja reports.
The majority of Belarusians living abroad are sure that Lukashenka and Petro Poroshenko will not discuss the problems of our compatriots fighting in the zone of the antiterrorist operation on the side of Ukraine in negotiations. Archbishop Sviataslau (Lohin) – the Archbishop of the Belarusian Autocephalous Orthodox Church (BAOC), which has Ukrainian citizenship, but mostly lives in the United States, also believes so.
– I think they may touch on this topic, but it's unlikely that there will be any improvement in this matter, because Belarus is now very much controlled by the Russian FSB and the Belarusian authorities are carrying out Russia's policy. This is due to the fact that it is very strongly connected economically and politically with Russia, so it is unlikely that something will improve in this matter in the coming years, – the Archbishop of BAOC said.
