Taras Berezovets: Lukashenka's Visit Was an Extraordinary One
Taras Berezovets

The dictator is not sure that he will remain in power in the near future.

On Facebook Taras Berezovets, a Ukrainian political scientist, commented on Aliaksandr Lukashenka's visit to Ukraine and called it "extraordinary."

According to the political scientist, exercises between Russia and Belarus are about to start, and not only Ukraine and NATO, but also Lukashenka himself have concerns about it.

"For the first time in 23 years in office, Lukashenka has no certainty that he will meet the 24th year in office. Instincts suggest that the course of events may accelerate against the will of Lukashenka," Berezovets says.

He recalls that meetings of the Belarusian dictator in Ukraine were planned only on the second day of the visit, and it is not known what he was doing on Thursday, but, apparently, he had some non-public consultations.

Berezovets notes that the Belarusian dictator again stated that the war would not come to Ukraine from his country's territory, and the whole truth is only that Lukashenka himself has stopped trusting Putin, and he can no longer completely control processes in Belarus including military exercises.
