Lukashenka To Environmental Minister: Figure Out What's Under Surface

The dictator appointed a new Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and criticized the quality of forecasts made by the Hydro-Meteorologist Center.

Lukashenka criticized the quality of the weather forecasts from the the Hydro-Meteorologist Center at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection. The dictator said this today, when appointing Andrei Khudyk as a new Minister, Lukashenka’s press-center informs.

“Their forecasts are impossible to read sometimes... Sometimes, having read them, I wish they had not made any forecasts at all. It’s more than a thousand people there. Deal with this structure and learn how to work from one structure — it’s a very small one — our army has it (in the Air Forces and the Air Defense Forces) — they provide detailed information for three days hour-by-hour, and they have made not a single mistake,” — the dictator said.

“When I am reading your information, and I receive it every day, I have a strong desire to disperse this organization. If you don’t know how to do your job, contact the military and learn from them how to work,” — Lukashenka added.

When appointing Andrei Khudyk as a Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the ruler said that the new Minister should pay attention to mineral deposits.

“A serious task concerning natural resources was given to the former minister. What do we know about our country? We can see what is on the surface. But we do not know what is under the surface. Your task is to answer this question. Focus on what we need most of all today. You understand what I mean,” — the ruler said.

“Nature is the God's gift, and we must protect it for our children and grandchildren,” — Lukashenka said. — So take it seriously, as you can. Put things in order and give me the result in all spheres regarding resourses and environmental protection. All these borrow pits, livestock farms, from where the slush flows into the river ... ".

Important to note, Andrei Kaukhuta used to head the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection. On June 8 it was reported that he had been suspended from work and a check was being carried out with regard to him — he was suspected of forgery.
