Mikalai Charnavus Took Baranavichy Road Builders In Hand

The activist is collecting signatures demanding to repair roads.

Baranavichy UCP activist Mikalai Charnavus continues to collect signatures under the appeal to the local authorities with a request to repair roads, ucpb.org writes.

"I raise the issue of high curbs that are inconvenient for parents with prams, aged people, people with disabilities, – the UCP activist addresses residents of Baranovichi via Facebook. – I urge the residents with an active position to sign the appeal to the authorities. I also want to raise the issue of repairing the road surface. Take Gagarin street as an instance. There is fresh asphalt. The ribbon has not been cut yet, but there are the same puddles on the new asphalt that used to be on the old one. The question is: what kind of quality is guaranteed by the road company with which the authorities have concluded the contract? What kind of guarantee does the company give for its work? I call on all those who are not indifferent to support the appeal!

According to Mikalai Charnavus, dozens of people have already signed the appeal. A week later, Baranavichy activists are planning to forward the appeal to chairman of the Baranavichy District Executive Committee Vasil Khvatsik.
