A 52-year-old man was following a potato harvester.

In the village of Lubonichi, the Kirausk district, a 52-year-old man lost his hand while harvesting potatoes. He was following a potato harvesting machine when his left hand got into the working mechanism, tut.by reports.

A 43-year-old local was the one who called his neighbour to help to harvest potatoes. The man himself was operating the harvester. The 52-year-old assistant was walking behind.

At some point his left hand got into a moving mechanism, — said Aksana Saleniuk, the official representative of the regional Investigatory Committee department.

The 52-year-old man was taken to the hospital. He lost about a third of his arm. To date, his condition is satisfactory. His life is not in danger.
