The former head of the school tried to cancel the trip to this contest.

The collective of Homel High School No. 67 has brought Grand Prix from Poland, having won in the international contest Kaleidoscope of Talents Winter-2018. According to the page of the parents' community in Odnoklassniki, in addition to the main award, Homel schoolchildren and their teachers have won a number of other awards, Solidarity writes.

Earlier, the school collective brought awards from St. Petersburg, where it participated in the international competition ARTIS-2017.

Both trips could not have taken place, as they were hampered by the former school director Hanna Melnikava. After repeated publications in the media, she was dismissed.

As reported by the students’ parents, Aliaksei Cheryshau has become the new principal of the school. Prior to that, he directed Homel School No. 26.

"According to the reviews, this is a good specialist who can bring peace and tranquility to the teaching team, will preserve the conditions for developing both the aesthetic and subject directions. We really hope that the confrontation is over, and the teachers will not settle accounts with each other. We also hope that the new director will listen to recommendations and suggestions from parents who have shown by their deed how important the atmosphere, in which our children study, is for us," – parents write in social networks.
