Patriot Andrei Bialiauski: Impossible To Predict What Judge Will Decide
ANDREI BIALIAUSKI

Andrei Bialiauski hopes that the court will take into account his arrest in the “patriots' case” during the “trial for round”.

The criminal case about the storage of a live round, started last December against the former figurant of the “patriots’ case” Andrei Bialiauski, was transferred to the Leninski district court of Minsk.

As Andrei Bialiauski told Radio Liberty, he has not yet been informed about the date of the trial. At the same time, the patriot said that he hoped for a positive verdict for himself:

“It is impossible to predict what decision the judge will take, but I hope that he will take into account my arrest in the “patriots' case,” - said Andrei Bialiauski.

The live round from the Kalashnikov assault rifle was found among the things of Andrei Bialiauski during the search after his detention in the “patriots' case” on March 17.

During the investigation Bialiauski said that he kept the round as a souvenir. According to the article on illegal circulation of arms, Bialiauski is threatened with correctional labour, arrest up to three months or up to 7 years of imprisonment.

Andrei Bialiauski stayed under arrest for 2,5 months.
