The football club Atlético from Madrid won the Europa League finals for the third time.
On the 15-kilogram UEFA Europa League Cup, instead of the Lukashenka flag of Belarus, the national white-red-white flag is placed, Radio Liberty reports.
The original trophy, placed on the stand of yellow marble, was designed in the Milan workshop of Bertoni to the finals of 1972. However, in the 90s, changes were made to its stand, where the flags of the European countries are now placed.
According to the new rules, which came into force from the 2009/2010 season, the original trophy is constantly kept in the UEFA, each winner receives a full-size copy of the cup.
The football club Atlético from Madrid won the Europa League finals for the third time. In the finals held in Lyon, they beat Marseille with a score of 3:0.
