The Ministry of Defense urges Belarusians to be attentive.
The Ministry of Defense of Belarus asks residents of settlements and drivers of vehicles to be extremely attentive at the time the military vehicles will be moving along the country's roads.
“In the framework of the comprehensive inspection of combat and mobilization readiness of the Armed Forces, from January 29 to January 30, 2019, a number of units involved in the inspection will perform combat training tasks, including the movement of tracked and wheeled vehicles on the roads of national importance in Vitsebsk, Hrodna, Mahiliou and Minsk regions,” the Defense Ministry reported.
On January 29, in accordance with the decision of the Minister of Defense of Belarus Andrei Raukou, a “complex” check of the combat readiness of the Belarusian army has been launched.
The Ministry of Defense checks the operational and tactical level of the military bodies, mechanized and tank units, the units of special operations forces, as well as the technical and logistic support troops.
As part of the check, it is planned to draft about 1,400 people from the reserve, as well as to receive 20 units of equipment from state bodies and organizations.
To create an environment close to real, the actions of the conditional enemy will be imitated by the units of special operations forces.
