Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs has also cancelled his visit to Minsk. This has been announced to tut.by by the Latvian Foreign Ministry.
"The Minister's visit has been cancelled because the event, scheduled for October 4-5, has been postponed," - the Latvian Foreign Ministry said.
Yesterday, in the middle of the day, the Latvian Foreign Minister was going to Minsk. He was going to take part in events related to the "Eastern Partnership". Rinkēvičs said that Latvia supports the signing of the EU-Belarus Partnership Priorities and the agreement on visa facilitation "in the near future, but not in a year, 5-10 years".
Earlier it became known that the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius had cancelled their visits to Belarus.
