The spirit of the people is a great driving force.

The most popular blogger of Belarus, Stsiapan Sviatlou (NEXTA), author of the film "Lukashenka. Criminal materials," which has gained more than 1.5 million views on youtube.com and about 600 thousand in other social networks, held a meeting of subscribers in Minsk. About 2 thousand people came to the meeting.

The video blogger and activist of the European Belarus civil campaign shared his opinion on the meeting on Facebook:

"I won't retell the events of Friday evening, I'll just note a few moments.

The main thing that happened was a huge number of young people, whose eyes were not stroked down, where there was not even hope for someone else, but readiness to act. The youth did not come to see or listen to anyone there, but came to participate in solving the problems of the country. It shows that our country has a future, that we are still together, that we are people and we are united by a common misfortune - the Lukashenka regime.

I said for a reason that every day there are more and more people who have woken up and rubbed their eyes, more and more people look at the situation in the country with a sober objective view. Those who believe the pro-government shouters - mass media, propaganda, ideologists, etc. - they have almost disappeared. Even the majority of the proven "Lukamol" have run away from the supervision of curators to us.

The second important point is that the Ministry of Internal Affairs not only failed to prevent the holding of the election picket and the meeting with NEXTA, but also became a kind of catalyst for the indignation of people in Freedom Square. Thanks to their provocations and our attempts to prevent them, we had to defend our equipment and climb up the tractor. What was then seen by everyone. At least the provocateurs did not manage to break the equipment quietly, as they had done an hour earlier.

The people were outraged and ready to storm the town hall to rescue Andrei Sharenda. The doors were barely closed. The head of the Interior Ministry, Karayeu, who, as it turned out, was sitting inside, was smart enough to free our friend.

This attitude of people is a great driving force. I'm not talking so much about the moment described above, I'm talking about speeches, chants, emotions in the square. Though there were just over a thousand of us there. Now imagine what we can do if we are ten thousand? What if there is a hundred?

And it will certainly be, and then we will be able to ask questions that the dictatorship simply ignores now, then we can solve the problems of the country, which are infinitely numerous.

And the most important thing is that then we will remove the dictator and his entire gang and our country will live a decent life, both socially and economically.

I would like to thank everyone who came to the discussion of Stsiapan's film, everyone who spoke out or wanted to speak out, but could not. And let me remind you once again that the more people watch this film, the more people will wake up, the sooner we will cure Belarus from the dictatorship.

We will continue the conversation at Kastrychnitskaya on November 15 at 18.00. Come and see us.

The coordinator of the European Belarus civil campaign Yauhen Afnahel at the NEXTA meeting called to gather at Kastrychnitskaya Square on November 15. The rally will be fully legal, as the election campaign continues in Belarus until November 17, and everything will be held within the framework of the campaign of candidates for deputies.
