Ivonka Survilla: I Urge You To Join Protests On December 20

It doesn't matter what country of the world you live in.

Chairman of the BPR Rada Ivonka Survilla urged Belarusians from around the world to join the protests against the so-called "deep integration" of Belarus and Russia on December 20.

The chairman of the BPR Rada called for this on the official website of the Council of the Belarusian People's Republic

"The independence of our Motherland of Belarus is in greater danger than ever before in the last twenty years," - Ivonka Survilla says.

"The current moment demands from our people, from the Belarusians all over the world to declare that we will never accept the loss of Belarus' independence. For centuries, thousands of Belarusians have shed their blood and sacrificed their lives for Belarus to become an independent state. We have no right to give the enemies what our ancestors have found at such a high price.

On behalf of the BPR Rada, I urge you to join the protests against the so-called "deep integration" of Belarus and Russia on December 20.

It doesn't matter what country of the world you live in or how many other Belarusians live around you. Go out with demonstrations and pickets to state institutions, send your letters to the local government and public organizations, express your public position in any way that suits you," - the chairman of the BPR Rada says.
