Girl With ‘Farewell, Dirty Russia!’ Poster: There Are Many Of Us, This Is Great

To preserve independence, one must take to the streets, and not just write comments on the Internet.

The protests against the so-called integration of Belarus and Russia have been taking place for the second day in a row in Minsk today.

The activist of the Narodnaya Hramada party, who is holding in her hands the poster “Farewell, Dirty Russia!”, has told the reporters about her participation in the protests for independence:

“When Ukrainians went to the Maidan, they had such posters - that's why I took this slogan.

I am a member of the Narodnaya Hramada, and I never miss a single protest.

To be honest, I didn’t expect that there would be so many people yesterday. There were many of us - and this is great. We called the people - and they came. And so it should be: take to the streets, and not just write comments on the Internet.

I will always participate in protests, because I do care!”
