Minsk and Moscow will continue to coordinate their actions in the military sphere.

Interfax reports that the Ministry of Defense of Belarus has held a briefing with military attaches of foreign countries on Thursday, confirmed the strategic course for partnership with Russia, the press service of the department informs.

“In the framework of the briefing theme “Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. The current stage of development,” the main content of the updated Concept of international military cooperation for 2019-2023, which confirms the strategic course for partnership with Russia, was presented to the audience” – the press service notes.

The military attachés were also informed that Belarus “remains focused on a high level of relations with the countries-members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the People’s Republic of China and the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.”

According to the Ministry of Defense, the briefing was held by the head of the Department of International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense – Assistant Secretary of Defense Minister for International Military Cooperation, Major General Aleh Voinau with military attaches from 28 countries accredited at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.
