MIA: Debtors From Belarus Will Not Be Able To Go Abroad Through Russia

The authorities of Belarus and the Russian Federation have signed a special agreement.

It has been stated by the head of the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, Aliaksei Biahun, onliner.by writes.

According to him, until now, some Belarusians with restriction of the right to leave the country could freely travel through Russia to other countries. He said that in the near future, this loophole will be eliminated.

Belarus and Russia have concluded a number of intergovernmental agreements, which exclude the possibility of unimpeded travelling to third countries of all the persons, whose right to leave the country is temporarily restricted.

“The relevant technical protocols of information and technological interaction between law enforcement officers of the two countries have been signed, – the Head of the Department for Citizenship and Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, Aliaksei Biahun, said. – They define the list of information transmitted and received electronically, the technology and procedure for transferring, storing, destroying, protecting information and accessing it. The technical testing of interaction mechanisms is underway.
