The IC has opened a criminal case.

The Investigation Committee of Belarus opened a criminal case on the fact of a deliberately false report on the mining of the railway station and the Halilea and Zamak shopping centers in Minsk on Sunday.

“The Investigation Committee of Belarus opened a criminal case on the fact of a deliberately false danger message (part 1 of article 340 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus), which was e-mailed to the contact center of the Belarusian Railway,” – the IC informed interfax.by.

According to the investigation, the message that contained information about the mining of the Halilea and Zamak shopping centers, as well as the railway station in Minsk was received on March 31, around 13.00. Employees of the organization called the police.

In the shortest possible time, law enforcement agencies took measures to ensure the safety of people, and workers and visitors to these facilities were evacuated. The sapper-pyrotechnic groups and crime scene investigation teams arrived at the scene. Explosive devices were not detected.

The work of the shopping centers and railway station resumed.
