Uladzimir Patapovich, father of Mahiliou traffic police inspector Yauhen Patapovich, who mysteriously died on May 16, does not abandon his intention to seek exhumation of his son's body.

"I made a mistake when I refused to participate in the body identification procedure and did not examine him in the morgue. At that time, it was reported that he had been murdered. Now they talk about suicide. I disagree with this, as I believe my son was killed," – Uladzimir Patapovich said.

A week ago, Uladzimir Patapovich said that he wanted to examine his son's body, but his ex-wife Volha was convinced that it was not worth doing for "ethical reasons, so as not to frighten with injuries on the body."

The IC does not remove the version of the policeman's suicide from the list of priorities. According to its chairman Ivan Naskevich, "a number of conclusions have been received in recent days, which strengthen the opinion that this is exactly what happened."
