The third day of excavation in Svislach ended with a long-awaited find.

The third day of excavation at the grave of Viktar Kalinouski, brother of Kastus Kalinouski, the leader of the 1863-64s uprising, was completed in Svislach, Radio Racyja reports.

According to the public observer Yury Hlebik, after the exhumation experts will determine whether they are male or female remains.

"They found the remains of a man in this grave. As long as they are gradually taken out, they are cleared of the ground. The remains are being documented. Some parts will be taken for identification. Then they will determine whether it is a man or a woman. If a man, they will take them for examination".

Yury Hlebik, a public observer, a local public and political activist, is closely following the process. This grave is a place of honouring the memory of the rebels and all the heroes who died for Belarus, for which the authorities pursue and punish the participants of this significant event every year.
