Three power units of the Kalinin nuclear power plant in Tver region of the Russian Federation were disconnected from the grid tonight. The reason for the emergency was a shortcut, the Basta telegram-channel writes.

Shortcut, Karl! Two wires got connected - and an accident happened, the nuclear power plant shutdown, the risk of a major accident, the recurrence of a nightmare, which is well remembered by our parents.

According to officials, "the radiation background is normal and there are no damages at the plant".

They said the same thing more than 30 years ago, in early May of 1986. The Soviet authorities were hiding the truth about the explosion in Chernobyl for a long time, spitting upon the lives and health of millions of citizens. They lied even when they had to admit that there was an accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. A couple of weeks after the explosion.

We will hear the same thing when Lukashenka's Astravets nuclear power plant, whose reactor is similar to the one in Kalinin, blows up. And there is little doubt that this will happen. After the "bloody fireworks". After the freighters coming off the rails. After dirty oil and broken roads. After daily news about the theft of officials.

They do not know how to build. They do not know how to work. They can do only two things - lie and steal. We see the results every day. However, not everybody will have a chance to find out how the affair with the nuclear power plant will end if it is launched.
