The fire destroyed the tanker truck and the overhang of the tank car loading/discharging racks.

A steam/air mixture exploded and 16 tons of diesel fuel ignited during diesel fuel loading operations in Renault tankers on the territory of the oil depot on Gozdetsky Street in Brest. This is what the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

As a result of the fire, a tank truck and the overhang of the tank car loading/discharging racks were destroyed.

Rescuers prevented the flame from spreading to the tanks. By 11:49 a.m., the fire was extinguished and there were no casualties. The tank farm and other property of the oil depot were not damaged, the Emergency Ministry said.
