Volha Nikalaichyk: We Preserved Nation Code In Our Living Faith

The descendants of the GDL, Bykau and Karatkevich are ready to serve their people.

This was written on Facebook by famous Belarusian documentary filmmaker, activist of the European Belarus civil campaign Volha Nikalaichyk:

"Everything is too bad in the state. That's why we go to power and we are modern, normal, honest, intelligent, decent Belarusians in the center of Europe.

We are the real hope of our people in our future parliament, which will be new by all criteria, instead of the infernal wax figures of the "evil gang". This is our chance to throw dirty, ugly, electric prison chains off our hands and barbed wire off our heads.

We are descendants of the great nation, descendants of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, descendants of the generation of 60ties, descendants of Bykau and Karatkevich, Baradulin and Buraukin, we are descendants of the Belarusians who were creating Hollywood, NASA and Silicon Valley. We have preserved the language in our living word, we have preserved the code of the nation in our living faith. We have preserved ourselves and are going to serve our Belarusian people.

We are sweeping away the evil slave owners out of Drazdy, "house of representatives" and various Palaces with the national broom. There are millions of us.

This is our chance, because they want to leave us at the bottom of the civilized world - in the abject misery, in the bog of poverty, because "cannibals" will take away our children and their future, leaving us forever in the situation of new Chernobyls, Semipalatinsks, new Severadvinsks.
