The manipulations were carried out in Minsk city policlinic №28.

Today, the first female and male patients from Belarus were vaccinated against coronavirus in Minsk City Polyclinic №28. The vaccine is Russian "Sputnik V", Onliner writes.

It was developed at the Gamaleya Institute in Russia. The stage of clinical testing of the vaccine in Belarus begins with the first vaccinated patients.

In total, 100 Belarusians will take part in the vaccine testing. This afternoon Acting Minister of Health Pinevich noted that "there were many more people willing to take part in the vaccine trials".

Some volunteers will receive placebo. The research will last at least 180 days.
