Miss Belarus Volha Khizhynkova Was Sentenced to 15 More Days of Arrest

In total, she will spend more than a month behind bars.

Miss Belarus 2008 and former press secretary of Brest Dynama Volha Khizhynkova was sentenced to 15 more days of arrest for participating in an unauthorized mass event. In total, this is the third trial against Volha under the Art. 23.34 of Administrative Code, tut.by reports.

Today, the trial was held for the third episode of Volha's participation in protests - the accusation was based on a photo on Instagram and a video made on October 25.

The court sentenced Volha to another 15 days of arrest. However, this punishment, as her lawyer said, will not be added to the previous ones (according to the old episodes, Volha received 12 and 15 days of arrest). Therefore, the countdown will start on November 26, and she should be released on December 11.

Let us remind you that Volha was detained on November 8, so, in total, she will spend more than a month behind bars.
