Pressball Employees Leave Publication
ULADZIMIR PIROH

Perhaps this is related to the appointment of a new editor-in-chief.

Uladzimir Piroh, deputy editor-in-chief of Pressball, has announced his resignation from Belarus' leading sports publication.

"For some reason I remembered BG and his magnificent winter MTV unplugged in 2018: "It took us a long time to write this album. There was a lot going on that you can't even speak about." But you can keep it short... To the Pressball creative team: guys, thanks for these crazy 20 years!" - Piroh wrote on Facebook.

Yesterday, columnist Siarhei Mardasevich announced his decision to leave Pressball.

In early December, editor-in-chief Dzmitry Herchykau, who had replaced Siarhei Kaiko just five months earlier, left the newspaper. Only one of Herchykau's four deputies, Dzmitry Belenki, remained in office. The last issues of Pressball were published under his signature.

It should be noted that the publication is headed by ONT correspondent Siarhei Lisichkin, although journalists were insisting that someone from the newspaper's staff should head Pressball.
