Chairman of the European People's Party Donald Tusk congratulated Belarusians on the approaching holidays. He stated this on Twitter:
- While wishing everyone good health, strength and happiness during this difficult Christmas season, I ask you not to forget our Belarusian friends who endure torture and beatings. They may not last long enough to see the New Year.
