Coronavirus Got On To Interior Ministry In Belarus

The disease gives no quarter to anyone.

Coronavirus got on to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus as well. A subscriber of the NEXTA telegram channel writes about it:

"My husband is in the hospital of the Interior Ministry at Zalataya Horka in Minsk. Their entire pulmonary department has pneumonia! He says that their entire floor is locked, no one is let out, not even the hospital attendants, only when there is a change of duty. The attending personnel are wearing masks and suits, and they, as well as the rest of the military, police officers, Emergencies Ministry employees and pensioners, have not even been given masks.

Virtually no one from the entire department has been tested for coronavirus, but absolutely anyone can be infected with it. Even when the incoming patients openly say that they've been in contact with foreigners, doctors just laugh at them and quote Lukashenka's words about the tractor. In addition, they are placed in common wards, where people, who have already recovered and are almost cured, are lying without any symptoms. They diagnose the disease only with X-rays - everyone is diagnosed solely with pneumonia. Patients are coming in all the time, even at night.

Of those who have been tested - a married couple, the husband is a military pensioner. The results are positive. They are lying in the same department with the rest of the people. Except that they're not allowed in the hallway.

They have one more ward in the hospital, where patients with coronavirus are kept, only special doctors in full uniform visit them. These patients do not come out into the hallway. After visiting this ward, the doctors do not disinfect their clothes in any way, but go to work with other patients.

What absence of the virus can we talk about when the state does not even care about its soldiers and does not make tests for coronavirus? And someone is about to get this infection and go to their unit or home".

"We want to add that the situation is not better at the Academy of the Interior Ministry," - the telegram channel writes. It has been under quarantine for several weeks now, and no one is allowed in or out (the measure of "freedom" varies from department to department). At the same time, it's very difficult to find out what's going on inside - the cadets of some departments have almost no contact with the outside world.

It is possible to realise the scale of what is happening only by the ambulance carriages which are arriving at the building every day and taking people away. And the flow of ambulances is not drying up.
