It's time to show that we make up 97%. Politicians and activists call to come to the Solidarity Picket today, June 18, 6 pm. It will be held in front of the Belarusian State Philharmonic on Yakub Kolas Square, reported Basta! telegram channel.
"Friends, it's time to show that we make up 97%. We make up those who want changes in the country, free elections and a better future for our Belarus. It is not enough to remain a couch-based expert or r a YouTube commentator”, writes Mikalai Kazlou, the leader of the United Civil Party.
We have a few days left when we can legally take part in mass pickets to collect signatures to nominate independent presidential candidates.
If we don't do it now, the repression machine will destroy our solidarity in a few days.
What are we doing on June 18th?
Pickets for signature collection for candidates start at 6 pm near the Philharmonic Hall (Ploshcha Yakuba Kolasa metro station; Independence Avenue, 50). We invite all candidates.
We stretch the line of solidarity in both directions from the signature collection point.
The task is to stretch the line of a few kilometres built by thousands of people who want changes in the country.
It will be our solidarity. It will be our response to the propaganda and psychosis which are trying to devour the country and prolong the process of destruction, impoverishment and degradation of our Belarus for other 5 years".
