Harry Pahanyayla: Anyway, Lukashenka Faces Ignominious End

The human rights defender called the inauguration the "coronation of a damn coward".

Human rights defender and lawyer Harry Pahanyayla called the secret inauguration of Aliaksandr Lukashenka "the coronation of a coward," reports Radio Svaboda.

"The inauguration lasted about an hour. It was held in an atmosphere of strict secrecy without an announcement that the ruler took office. He behaves like a damn coward, like before. He knows that he lost the election, the people speak against him, and this next cadence for the sixth term is illegal. So, he tries to do this black deed secretly.

According to Harry Pahanyayla, this unworthy deed of Lukashenka leaves after pains in hearts of the majority of Belarusians.

"They were morally prepared for this kind of inauguration. But I do not think that he can consolidate the position as president. The struggle of the Belarusian people will continue, and ignominious end awaits him anyway," the human rights defender concluded.
