Minister Admitted That EU Sanctions Dealt a Blow to Belarusian Industry

European Union enterprises are delaying the supply of components.

Belarusian Industry Minister Piotr Parkhomchyk said that some European enterprises are delaying the supply of components after the imposition of sanctions, interfax.by reports.

"There are separate enterprises in Finland, Germany, which are delaying the supply of some components. Time will show what will happen next," said Parkhomchyk, commenting on the topic of sanctions against some enterprises in Belarus.

As reported, in December, the EU Council issued a decree on the new EU sanctions package against Belarus, which includes 29 individuals and seven legal entities. This is the third package of sanctions against Belarus.

Among the organizations that fell under the sanctions were Beltechexport, OJSC MZKT - Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, Dana holdings, and LLC Sinezis. In addition, the list includes such enterprises as the State Institution "Main Economic Department" of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Belarus, OAO AGAT-Electromechanical Plant, OAO 140 Repair Plant.
