Professor From Vitsebsk Joined the Strike Demanding Lukashenka's Resignation

"Another time will come, and we will be able to build a new Belarus."

Anatol Hryshkevich, a special discipline professor at the Vitsebsk State College of Culture and Arts, wrote an application addressed to the institution director to join the national strike, Radio Svaboda reports.

- I cannot continue to work and pretend that nothing is happening. I cannot be part of this system. A professor cannot abstract from the violence and injustice that are happening around. I don't want to lie and teach falsehood to my students. I hope that another time will come and we will be able to build a new Belarus.
