Lukashenka Administration Employee: Mass Official Lives With Expectation That Regime Will Collapse Soon

The "waiter" is becoming a big problem for the junta.

The mass official lives in a state of expectation of the regime's imminent fall.

Such a waiting official is undoubtedly useless to the people, because he has no aspirations and desires to transform the country for the better, writes Artsiom Praskalovich, a former employee of the Lukashenka administration.

Another thing is that the waiter is becoming a big problem for the junta. It is the factory workers and teachers who are expected to be loyal, unquestioning and uninitiative. But the people at the top, clinging to power, are not happy when all their orders are executed half-assedly, every order is executed with nothing but irritation, and apathy reigns supreme. The leaders are angry at their subordinates, the subordinates are angry at Lukashenka. Then there happen the airplanes, migrants, BBC interviews, and other self-harm.

The foundation is crumbling. And the regime has nothing to offer as a stimulus to strengthen it.

If earlier officials were waiting for retirement, now they are waiting for the end of the Lukashenko era.

Both are inevitable. However, we can bring the second one closer.
