According to experts, "there is no smoke without fire."

According to unofficial information, representatives of the Belarusian special services could have arrived in Tajikistan, allegedly to meet with representatives of the Taliban movement and to help them in preparing special operations, according to the Russian edition lenta.ru. The prospects for this were assessed by the Russian expert on Afghanistan, columnist for Nezavisimaya Gazeta, Andrei Serenko.

According to the expert, there is more fantasy than truth in this information. It is only known for certain that the Belarusian military flew to Tajikistan for exercises conducted by the CSTO countries, ITON.TV reports.

Serenko stressed that now Tajikistan is the most irreconcilable state towards the Taliban, and it is unlikely that representatives of the Belarusian side could hold negotiations with them there.

At the same time, according to the journalist, "there is no smoke without fire." He said that there were rumors about the active work in Tajikistan of the Pakistani special services, which are the most active curators and operators of the Taliban.
