The pedestals for them are being mounted near the Belarusian Church of St. Kirill of Turov.

Monuments to the national heroes of Belarus are supposed to be installed near the building of the Cathedral of the Belarusian Autocephalous Orthodox Church in New York, Radio Svaboda writes.

Recently, the disappearance of sculptor Henik Loika from the information space has been alarming. In the fall, the sculptor was sentenced to 20 days in jail, which he served at Akrestsina, and nothing more was known about him.

Henik Loika, author of, among other things, the monument to Kastsiushka in Kosovo, wrote on Facebook that he had indeed served time in jail at Akrestsina, as well as in Zhodzina and Mahiliou, and is now in New York and working on busts of Tadevush Kastsiushka and Kastus Kalinouski.

"The busts have been cast in bronze. It remains to install them on Belarusian soil. For some reason (we know why) the motherland does not accept them yet. But America was kind enough to offer us their continent. And we are now going to install the monuments near the Belarusian Church of St. Kirill of Turov on a piece of Belarusian soil in New York".

Zianon Pazniak believes that the sculptures are made at a high artistic level and calls on the Belarusians of the world to join in fundraising for their installation.
