After all, after you cross the impromptu threshold, the door will slam shut and there will be no further way back. But I am not judging you. I only ask you to make the choice that will be honest in relation to you, your friends, and your loved ones. To your family. After all, it is you who will live further. Not me, not your neighbor, not a politician who says that tomorrow will be better. It is up to you to make your own path further. These are not empty words ...

I was forced to leave the country; to betray friends or go to prison for a long time - it's a so-so prospect. I had to leave everything I had. Family, friends, a partner, and even my dog. I cannot hug my parents, I cannot hug my loved ones, I cannot tell them that everything will be fine. Damn it, I can't even talk to them and tell them I'm fine! I had a well-organized life, work, and plans for the next couple of months. Plans to sit with one-year-old nephews in the summer at the dacha, a dream to go to the sea or walk until late at night with your dog on summer evenings. Everything was burned by the fire of the regime. Now there is only ashes left from the life that I had. And from these ashes, I begin to reassemble myself.

It's good to have old connections. Someone will help to collect the legs, someone hands, someone will put things in order in the head. But do you know what I can't put together? Heart... After all, it is impossible to collect a heart alone. For this, you need relatives who will listen, friends, to whom you can come with a bottle of wine and talk all night to solve the problem, for this you need a person who knows you, naked, and drunk, and angry, and in any state in general. The heart cannot be restored just like that.

The heart of Belarus is now also destroyed. But it can still be resurrected! This requires each of you. A Belarusian who wants to change his life and the lives of his relatives. It is the people that are the heart of Belarus. It is its unity that is the power that can make the heart beat. It is its voice that is the pulse of the heart, and the louder the voice, the stronger the will to live.
