Belarusian Tax Authorities Will Maintain Database Of Individuals' Income Records

The resolution of the so-called "government" has come into force.

On April 7, the illegal "government" of Belarus adopted the decree №201 "On providing information about the income of individuals," pravo.by reports.

The approved document will clarify the list, order and timing of data on personal income, as well as information on the issued and transferred money.

This will not affect the data on funds, referred to state secrets or bank secrets, but will apply to directing the money to government agencies and other organizations (listed in paragraph 2 of Article 14 of the Tax Code), offices of foreign organizations, Belarusian individual entrepreneurs, notaries and lawyers, as well as receiving funds from the listed business entities. This information is provided to the Ministry of Taxes and Levies to create an automated information system for accounting of personal income.

The Decree comes into force after its official publication.
