To fulfill them, you need to go on strike.

Today, one of the leaders of the strike committee at the Minsk Tractor Plant, Siarhei Dyleuski, announced the creation of the Belarusian Workers' Association and also read out its manifesto:

- Workers are the backbone of any state. The economies of the countries rest on us. Our vote makes presidents elected. We choose the path along which the state will develop. And we are not satisfied with the way Belarus is moving now.

Our voice was not considered important. Our work is not respected. It is us and our children who are imprisoned and beaten.

We - the workers' union of Belarus - are against it.

Our requirements:

- Release of all political prisoners and innocent convicts.

- Lukashenka's resignation and new, fair elections.

- Investigation and punishment of all those guilty of torturing the civilian population.

How will we achieve this?

For this, we need to go on strike. Altogether, throughout the country, once and until our demands are met.

What do we do after defeating the regime?

We will have to cope with its consequences: disgusting working conditions, dilapidated factories, rotten equipment, and much more.

We go on strike not just to overthrow the regime. We are doing this to build a new Belarus on its ruins.
