"Talking Heads" Without Brains And "Pygmy": Meeting With Ambassadors Was Not Up To Par

And this happened just a few days after Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makei's meeting with Western ambassadors to Belarus. It seems that conversation did not go well.

"The whole problem is that the current Western politicians do not feel responsible for the actions they are trying to undertake in other countries, in particular in our state. And this is the biggest danger," BelTA quoted Uladzimir Makei.

According to him, Western politicians encourage the thugs under the guise of emasculated modern slogans about democracy. In general, the head of the Foreign Ministry says, the triumph of "talking heads without brains" is flourishing in international relations.

"The first mistake is that these talking heads have no ability to see one step ahead. And the second thing: they view the world in a one-dimensional perspective, not a multidimensional one. A real doctor sees that the body is a complex system. And the doctor feels his responsibility. But these people don't feel responsibility," said Makei.

The head of the Foreign Ministry stated that "Western talking heads" are ready to use any means and methods in order to reach their goals: "it is not only bribery, not only financing, an information war, blackmail and intimidation, but also terrorist attacks (which happened in Belarus, eight cases within six months of last year), coup attempts and war".

"Today a lot of beautiful words about human rights, democracy, freedom, future beautiful life and so on and so forth are poured into the ears of ordinary citizens. All this, I must say, is just props, and there is much more behind them," he stressed.

According to him, the Western countries failed to "blitzkrieg" against Belarus, that is why they want to crush the country by all means, he said. On the whole, said Makei, there is a danger of a new Cold War.

"Pygmy-Lithuania says, 'We will continue to pressure Belarus, we will work with Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia". They make giants out of themselves, who want to play almost a defining role in our region and maybe even in international politics," said the head of the Foreign Ministry.
