An activist of European Belarus spoke about his dream.
A reader of the telegram channel of the European Belarus civil campaign shared letters and a picture from political prisoner Andrei Voinich. The activist of European Belarus was detained on September 25, 2020. He was sentenced by the "court" to seven years for "participation in mass riots."
Here are some quotes from his letters:
"The most important thing here is probably solidarity. After all, this is what made us who we are. It helps all of us in this difficult time. It gives us the opportunity to breathe fresh air very soon, I think(...) Everything will be fine, I am convinced of that."
"What do I dream about? Peace, as trite as it may seem. I dream that the Belarusians won't feel pain, won't feel injustice. I dream not out of affectation but because I am a part of this people, of this country."
